The impact of tariffs on U.S. customers

The US government has now reduced the tariffs to 30%. For orders from US customers, the tariffs will still be paid by us and you don’t need to pay.

Our team has contacted many logistics companies and found that some logistics companies ship to the United States including tax. Therefore, we can cover your customs duties, but the shipping cost needs to be paid by you. Because the freight for shipping parcels to the United States is expensive now. If it is an order from a wholesale customer, we will transport it by cargo ship to reduce your cost.

We will still establish a warehouse in FL, the United States this month. At that time, the products of Paddlesshop can be shipped in the United States.

Dear Paddlesshop Community Member,

Thank you for your incredible support and love for Paddlesshop! We have some important news to share. Starting May 2, packages shipped from China to the U.S. will no longer qualify for the T86 clearance mode (which allows duty-free entry for packages under $800). As a result, starting April 24, we’ll need to apply a 145% tariff to shipments, as packages sent after this date are unlikely to clear U.S. customs before May 2.

To address this, we’re excited to announce that we’ll be launching a new warehouse in Florida, USA, by mid-to-late May. By shipping directly from the U.S., we’ll boost delivery efficiency and help our U.S. customers avoid the 145% tariff.

Our commitment to you remains unchanged: we will not raise the original prices of our products due to tariffs. The 145% tariff is temporary, and we expect the U.S. government to lower it in the future. When that happens, we’ll adjust accordingly. If tariffs drop to 50-60%, we’ll explore ways to cover those costs ourselves (after reviewing our overall profits) to keep your expenses as low as possible.
